External Reviews
PRC services are not a form of accreditation, ranking, rating, or scoring but, instead, include self-assessments and external expertise to assist divisions of student affairs and services for the previously stated purposes. The Program Review Collaborative does not engage in legal or compliance-based reviews.
The scope of the review depends on the goals of the project. Review projects generally involve the following activities over the course of a three- to four-month period:
Introductory conversation with administrator requesting a review
Nomination and identification of subject matter experts as reviewers
Guidance with self-study process or other reflective component
Assistance in preparing staff to participate in review
Review of reports, documents, assessments, data
Qualitative data collection - 1.5-day campus visit or remote interview period
Written report of findings, analysis, and recommendations.
